Serve as a resource for nurses, physicians and other clinicians who participate in the management of hematology, oncology and other patients receiving care at Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care.
Provide technical direction and supervision of assigned personnel.
Communicate with patients and other health care professionals to optimize medication therapy.
Provide functional or technical supervision over other employees in same or closely related classifications, where scope of supervisory responsibility is limited to direction, guidance, explanation, etc.
Will be involved with clinical trials including maintaining logs for drug accountability, dispensation and destruction of clinical trial material.
Participation in the brown bag program at Southcoast for patient adherence.

Cancer Center - Fairhaven, MA; Required to float between sitesEducation and/or Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy is required.
A Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy is required.
Experience working in USP 797 environment and knowledgeable about scale usage and maintenance is required.
Previous oncology experience is preferred.
One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
Consideration is given to new graduates.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and seasonal Influenza.
Must provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
