The Desktop/User Support Administrator at Brahmin will align with the IT team to provide fast and useful Help Desk - Tier 1 end-user support with hardware, application, and processes that are accurate and consistent with IT standards and policies.
An excellent Held Desk Technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to patiently listen and communicate effectively.
The goal is to create a positive experience and create value for clients that will help preserve the company's efficiencies and experience.
The candidate must have a desktop background in PC, MAC, iOS environments, the ability to communicate and be understood by system users, have good problem-solving skills.
A tech savvy self-starter has the potential to excel in this role and grow with the Brahmin IT team.
This is a hybrid role with 3 -4 days a week in our Corporate Headquarters located in Fairhaven, MA.
Desktop Support Administrator
Responsibilities:
Provide desktop hardware and application support to local and remote users.
Troubleshoot problems though diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions to identify and correct malfunctions and issues through a Help Desk application and within SLA's.
Determine best solution based on the issue and details provided.
Recognizes and escalates more difficult problems to Tier 2 support.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, cabling, and network printers.
Install and maintain VoIP telephones.
Evaluate new hardware products and applications for future deployment.
Record events and problems and their resolution in logs Follow-up and update customer status and information.
Pass on feedback or suggestions to appropriate internal partners.
Manage and update local site asset inventories.
Desktop Support Administrator Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree is preferred.

Certification is a plus but not required.
1 - 3 years of experience working with desktop technology (PC's, MAC, iOS), laptops, tablets, printers, etc.

Mature understanding of Windows operating systems.
Solid understanding of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience using Active Directory authentication is a plus.
Experience using a Help Desk application system is a plus.
Coordinate hardware and service repairs with third-party providers.
Excellent oral, written, and organizational communication skills.
Proficiency in English Initiative and ability to work independently (self-direction), while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork for efficiency and effectiveness.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
